Blue Squad Holds On To Win 24-23

Surprisingly the team with the #1 defensive players won Kentucky Football’s biggest Spring Game EVER. Building a 2 TD lead at one point, Max Smith made it close by throwing a 47 yard bomb to Demarco Robinson with less than 3 minutes to go to cut the lead to one, but the Blue defense earned their victory by stopping the 2-point conversion for the win. Jalen Whitlow played exceptionally well, moving around the pocket well and using his feet to pick up a couple of important 1st downs. Josh Clemons was on the field for the first time in nearly 18 months and did not disappoint, looking more agile than a back his size should be. The real winners today? Big Blue Nation.
I’ll be back with an in-depth analysis after these people figure out how to put together some stats.

That picture is beautiful
As fun as this game was, this team still has serious issues, especially on both off & def lines. There is no way they win more than 4 games this year. What are your predictions? Lets here ’em.
BRING ON BAMA lol
#2 wait till the freshman gets there it might be a different story
Undefeated national champs! Go cats!!!
Learn the difference between “here” and “hear” before you start coming on HERE trying to be negative Nancy
I want to see improvement and passion, wins and losses are part of the equation, but I want a team that plays hard nosed smart football for 60 minutes
They will win every Fkn game. Check my season preview out on YouTube
@2 – Fool. All that is required to describe you. Things to be taken from the game is those the Joker’s players and no they arent very athletic. Josh Clemons and the transfer DE #94 are going to be good. TE #46 or 48 going to be good. Off & Def lines will improve. Its only spring practice and its going to take more than a few weeks to correct what these guys were taught under Joker. Loved seeing so many people at a practice!
8. Way to go Reed. You are always spot on with your predictions…like last year when you predicted on YouTube that Joker’s team would be 12-0. Wow. You were spot on there.
#8. Link please
I’m just glad Kentucky won!!!!!!!
Get it?
I really thought Clemons was a major bright spot. I also thought Dupree performed up to expectations at DE.
No, Sally, I don’t get it. Explain to me pleazzzzze.
How many buts were in the seats? I think the attendance total is the biggest story for the enthusiasm of the new team and staff.
How large was the crowd?
None of your business, Caftan. All that matters is how many tickets were sold.
Duh.
i really thought #69 Jack Mehoff had a great night catching. Really knows how to use his body
Attendance was announced at 50,831.
The game was an awesome experience. Great excitement ramping up for the fall and beyond. The crowd and UK fans are ready to support the team.
Whitlow looked great running and catching. I thought the running game looked pretty solid with sanders, whitlow, mobley, and clemons having some nice touches. The passing will improve and looked pretty good considering where we were last year. Zadarius Smith is definitely a man child out there. That dude is gonna be tough to block. All in all I come away from the game very pleased. Congrats to Coach Stoops and all the UK players past and present that were a part of it. Thank you.
i meant running and throwing…
Kentucky finally beat somebody watch out little brother this might not be your year at CWS!
