Some good news for a late Tuesday night. The Pete Thamel “I will publish Eric Bledsoe’s grades because I can” saga is finally over, as the NCAA Told Jerry Tipton late today that the case is closed and the NCAA will not change their initial eligibility determination from last season. The practical impact for Kentucky of course is that it means we can all keep our UK2K shirts out and get some brand new copies of our “F*** Algebra III” shirts for the next UK homegame.
In all seriousness, I am happy for Bledsoe and glad that this saga was as worthless as I initially believed when the original story was written. But hey Pete, at least you wasted a good chunk of money from the Birmingham School District…you can always hang your hat on that.
