Billboard Damage Not Caused by UK Fans

One of the things UL fans love to pretend is that all UK fans are wild lunatics who, if given complete free will, would roam the streets attempting to commit atrocities to anyone standing in their way. we learned long ago that this is only true for half of us. But it is not surprising that when a storm hit the “Lexington is For the Birds” billboard in Frankfort, UL fans would blame UK fans. But alas, they were once again wrong. Lamar Advertising says that a storm caused the damage to the billboard, not the work of a few rogue humans. Mike Gibson says in an email that they surveyed the damage today and made the determination that that known UL hater Old Man Weather brought down the sign, thus absolving all but the mightiest UK fan in the sky.

Sorry UL fans, maybe next time.

I am sure the Tard fans will blame us for causing the storm or at the very least,,,,,directing the storm toward their billboard.

More importantly, this just shows that God isn’t a UL fan.

I am the guy who thought to actually email Lamar Advertising. It’s amazing what happens when you go straight to the source for facts instead of buying into conspiracy theories. UofL fans prayed something would happen to the billboard… and God heard.

Nice, the little mini flamewar got my comment deleted.

Like I said before, it’s a good thing no one yesterday insinuated it was done by a UK fan on this site.

The obsession this site has for UL is unhealthy and unwarranted.

The sign was probably put up by card fans….half-assed work and can never finish. If you want a job done right, hire a CAT…we don’t stop until the job is done. #banners.

For anyone who would like to see proof of the e-mail coming from Lamar Advertising in which it is clearly stated that the damage was caused by a storm… I took a screenshot of the e-mail. If you’d like for me to actually forward the e-mail to you, post your e-mail…
