We got a big Saturday ready for you folks beginning around noon tomorrow. Live from the casa de Hubby, myself, Hubby, the Intern and official friend of Kentucky Sports Radio, Gabe will be watching college football and doing a live blog of all the Saturday festivities. We hope you will join in tomorrow with your comments and then follow us Saturday night to a local Lexington establishment for the UK-Miss State game. It should be quite the day. Check in around noon for the fun.
And in the news of the day, Tubby Smith was in Mason County (courthouse above) tonight at the Mason County football game to watch Darius Miller. Looks like the Scotty Hopson commitment has the attention of the UK staff and the Miller full court press is on……
And finally, I thought you guys might like the following comment given to me on the Duke Scout message board concerning the continued “outrage” about my comments on this blog. It is CLAH-sic and not normal message board fodder:
That you have the temerity to wag your finger at us after making such an outrageous, slanderous, malicious slam against our University is deplorable.
You are in no position whatsoever to lecture anyone–not a single Kentucky fan, not a single Duke fan.
You exposed your intentions from the start, and have been backpedaling with a feigned indignation ever since.
The gall that you are displaying so outwardly is formidable. And your unwillingness to address that which you know upset us is a trick that is not working. You’re no journalistic Houdini.
You continue to ignore the salient points and facts that have been presented to undermine nearly everything you’ve written, and veil them with lamentations of a few posters poking fun at you and Kentucky.
You remain exposed, however–you still haven’t figured out a way to shield yourself effectively.
You gotta love these guys. “Temerity”, “veil them with lamentations”, “outrageous, slanderous, malicious”…..great message board language. You would think that anything any of us have to say on here is actually meaningful. Maybe we can get OH to write a song about this….
