Im amazed 15000 people of BBN had yet to follow him prior to the announcement. Anyways why is Poythress not locked in as our SF forsure, he seems like the perfect mismatch for other 3’s we will play.
Two better case scenarios to having that locked in:
Get Orakhi and have Poythress play the 3 with Noel as center.
OR
Get Bennett and have him play interchangably with Poythress at the 3 and 4.
With our current roster, Poythress has to play the 4.

1) Harrow
2) Goodwin
3) Lamb/MKG or Hood – depending on who stays
4) Poythress
5) Noel
A lot of upset fans in Nortern Kentucky because the trophy tour isn’t coming here. NKY has some of the state’s most passionate UK basketball fans. What a shame.

8)- being from East KY I did not realize it until I spent so much time in Florence recently…WOW!!!! just as much Blue as there is in East KY……Matt Jones is on the bus……so that may have something to do with it….he legally may not be able to go North of Lexington?!?!?!

Wiltjer will play the 3/4 with Poythress. He defended the bigs when he was in this year. The offense for the 3/4 is mostly interchangeable.
No northern Ky stop surprises me as well. strange.
7- wouldn’t mind having poythress play the 3 with oriakhi (if we get him) at the 4.
part of why i think miller was so important past couple of years. good teams could match-up with or negate tjones/davis size on any given night, but miller-tjones-davis is too much size/athleticsm.
#8–It is too close to Cincy. Cal is afraid someone may get suckered punched while admiring the trophy and taking pics.

Wiltjer will likely start with the roster as it exists. Add that Vegas fellar or that UConn fellar and that could change. But don’t count Wiltjer out. He is our best shooter, and Goodwin is the only other shooter on the team. We will miss having Lamb and Miller and Wiltjer as outside threats, with Teague, MKG and TJ as occassional threats.

Looking like it will be a chore for SM to just “fill Pauley Pavillion.” That’s a low goal, right out of his mouth. From NN: “I want to repeat.” Sounds like we got the better end of the recruiting deal last night. Feel bad for Shabazz; he is a great player, but won’t get much national attention by playing in the PAC12. I’m not even sure that conference plays basketball anymore.

So Harrow and Goodwin are basically our only guards next year? That kind of makes me nervous, we need at least 1 or 2 more ball handlers, you can’t go all year with only 2 guards. I’m not sold on Hood or Twanny, so that leaves who, Polson? Am I forgetting someone?
