Beckham, Jones, Miller, and Polson make SEC Honor Roll
The SEC released its Winter 2011-2012 Academic Honor Roll today and four basketball Cats made the list. Twany Beckham (Communication), Terrence Jones (Communication), Darius Miller (Community Communications and Leadership Development), and Jarrod Polson (Finance) were four of the 398 students named.
Kentucky had the second most student-athletes on the honor roll list.

congrats on the grades. now come to the small towns and charge 50 dollars for you autograph. that is shamefull.
Then don’t get an autograph!
Someone contact Bobby Knight, these UK players must be a lot smarter than his boys were. Just think, make the Honor Roll and never go to class, amazing!
How can the walkons not make it?? That’s what they’re there for!!!!
I made the honor roll once. And by once, I mean once.
A couple of things you need to know about me, my adoring fans: 1. 24 represents my IQ. 2. I like to take something postive and try to make it negative, because I lead a shallow and miserable life.
I knew there was a reason Twany and Polson are on the roster.
3) shut up. don’t you think the kids deserve to make some money? most of it probably goes to whoever hosts, anyway.
Way ro go guys. So proud of these young men
I thought Davis said the other day that he had a 3.45 GPA?
Very impressed.
3.5 is honor roll in college
Freshman cannot get this honor. Idiots. If they could Anthony, Marquis, Kyle, MKG, Sam, and Brian would all be on there, right….. HAHAHA
The “communications” major; what exactly is that in terms of classes you take?
Polson and i are both sophomore finance majors? #BFF
3. Are people still complaining about this? You do realize that players have to come up with a bunch of money in between season ending and the draft? They need money to fly to pro workouts and money to live on. The agents may front them some money depending on the player, that doesnt usually cover everything. Thats why they charge, and half of the money they take goes to the people hosting the event anyway.
Agents front them all the money to make it to workouts, etc..
will them being at kentucky be a footnote for the school or part of its history?
What in the heck is up with Sam Malone and Brian Long? If they get a NCAA Championship ring, then UK should get their academic credit on the SEC honor roll list.
Suck on that Tipton
