um… I’m not a math major, but how do you figure 3 McDonald’s All American’s off the bench. We have 8 on the roster, WCS wasn’t one so we can’t have any fewer than 4 off the bench. 5 if Wiggins comes.

As of now I bet the starting lineup is

    1. Harrison
    2. Harrison
    3. Poythress (He’s a 3, not a 4, he just needs a little work, but him starting allows us to have an elite guard off the bench)
    4. Randle
    5. Cauley-Stein

    6. Young
    7. Lee

    52) That’s because Willie Cauley Stein is a 7’1 monster athlete who started Center for us the last half of the season. WCS was probably a top 20 recruit last year in reality, not the 40th like he was rated but Cal said that very early in the season.

Also, its not that Dakari is not very good, but he’s not a super athlete, he a Cousins type but not as agile or as good at the same age. He’s gonna be a great back up and role player his first year but Willie is older, more experienced, a better athlete and shot blocker and he’s a guy likely to be a lottery pick in next years draft.

PF and C is where we’re the most stacked. WCS, Lee, Dakari, and even Randle can all play those positions. Next years team will be an up and down team and Dakari’s more of a half court high low post center. He’ll be a intergal part of the 2014 season when he teams with Karl Towns

If we don’t get Wiggins I’m willing to bet Alex does start at one of the forward spots. I’ll take any willing offers.

If young starts there’s no guards to come off the bench.

If you start Young, Lee, and WCS then you’ve got a guy playing out of position and we have the same issue we had this year when Noel and WCS were both in which was having two guys on the court that can’t shoot outside 5 feet.

Poy starting makes the most sense just to balance the lineup.
