I must say that at the beginning of the season, I figured this to be one of the easiest 2 or 3 games on the Kentucky schedule. Central Florida is a below average Conference USA team who has shown virtually no signs of life throughout most of the season, and was absolutely embarassed earlier in the year by Florida. Thus when I saw the line this morning was 20, I thought that was a big high, but at least plausible.
And once again this team surprised me. One of the most uninspired performances in recent years, saved only by a first half hot streak by Ramel Bradley and a great finishing play by Rajon Rondo. I cannot figure out this team in any meaningful way, but it was clear that these guys had no interest in this game tonight. Luckily they won, because a loss tonight would have been devastating. But it was as bad a win as I can remember.
