LSU finally gave Ryan Perrilloux the boot today after violating just about every law or rule that a college athlete gets stereotyped for. Failed drug tests? Check. Fake ID? Yessir. Skipping meetings? Yep. Fighting in the club? No doubt. Federal Investigations? You better believe it.
It brings to an end an LSU career that started with bold claims of winning mulitple Heismans and ended as a back-up to one of the worst starting quarterbacks I’ve ever seen in my life (Casey Dick not included). Perrilloux had supposedly threatened to transfer to Grambling last year, so I wouldn’t be surprised if he ends up there. I do know one thing though. Had Les Miles taken his head out of his rear and played this kid in the UK game last year, I think LSU would have won by 30. He’s got talent. Just apparently lacks any sort of common sense or responsibility.
