Kentucky Sports Radio

University of Kentucky Basketball, Football, and Recruiting news brought to you in the most ridiculous manner possible.

At some point this has to stop, right?

In case you’ve stuck out in the sticks with the amily like me and havent heard, the Filthy Cards got another dose of bad news this holiday weekend when WR Trent Guy was shot outside a club after a dispute with a man who was getting too close with his fiance. Guy played sparingly at wideout and returned kicks for U of L last year, most famously bobbling a key kickoff return in the final minutes against West Virginia, ut was expected to start this year. The good news is that Guy is expected to be fine although his football status is still unknown.

The question now is: What else can go wrong for Little Brother? If they haven’t bottomed out yet, they have to be close. It seems like that team has a black cloud hanging over it and they are starving for some good news. I’m bisaed and might have had one too many Krystal burgers, but has any program nosedived this quickly after rising up so fast? I cant think of any. Its possible that the obnoxious optimism of the Brohm/Bush/Petrino era might be outdone by the despair of this new era of Cards football and its bad publicity. Tough times to be a Cards football fan.

Who am I kidding? Card fans will still tell you that they are BCS-bound and Cantwell will win the Heisman. Intelligence was never their forte.
