Archie Goodwin to work out for the Grizzlies today, the Nets on Wednesday
According to Adam Zagoria’s flowing locks, Archie Goodwin will work out for the Brooklyn Nets on Wednesday, along with Chris Flores, Tyler Brown, AJ Davis, Tony Snell and Reggie Bullock. The Nets have the 22nd pick in the draft.
Most mock drafts have Archie going in the early to mid-second round. Today, he’s in Memphis to work out for the Grizzlies, and this past week, he backed out working out for the Washington Wizards, according to CSN Washington reporter J. Michael. The Grizzlies and the Wizards have the 41st and 38th picks in the draft, respectively. (Washington also has the 54th pick, but doesn’t expect to use it.)

I guess he thinks it’ll hurt his draft stock to try out for a team that doesn’t have first round pick. Ballsy move to alienate a potential employer.

Archie was in a tough spot at UK. Team chemistry was waaay off. And no real leadership. All throughout he made the effort, kept UK in some games hoping the others would find a way to get there, and he NEVER quit during a game. He always pushed and kept trying. With the right org we may be seeing him in the league a long time. So-called UK fans that hate on these kids when things don’t go well seem a bit spoiled and put a lot on these guys. He chose to come to UK to be a part of the fam, lets treat him with respect and wish him well for his future.
11 is spot on. Say what you want about Archie but the kid played his ass off for UK. He gave 110% every night, if anything he tried to hard. He wasn’t as bad as some act. To me he played like a freshman. And the players like Wall, Davis, MKG and the other 1 and dones. cal has got are more exceptions then the norm. Most freshman are out of control and need work just like Archie was. I .hink the only reason he left is because of how loaded the draft will be next year. If he had come back it would have been for 2 more years not just 1!

10. Rondoesque? How high are you? The only thing they have in common is neither can shoot from behind the arc. Rondo has a big time handle, can pass and lightining fast and can finish at the rim in traffic. And rebound.
