Archie Goodwin named SEC Freshman of the Week

After an impressive early season run, Archie Goodwin has been named SEC Freshman of the Week. Goodwin averaged 25 points, 7.5 rebounds and 6.5 assists in the Cats’ wins over Morehead State and LIU-Brooklyn last week.
This marks the third week in a row that a Kentucky player has been honored by the SEC. Last week, Alex Poythress brought home SEC Freshman of the Week honors, and Kyle Wiltjer was named SEC Player of the Week the week prior to that.

Burrrrr……….Go Cats!
Who was player of the week if his stats were that good??
In my opinion, Archie will be the national freshman of the year.
OOHH ARCHIE !!
That GIF cracks me up…
Goodwin will have 30 point games when he moves to 2 permanently. Only reason to want Ryan Harrow back.
If Archie or Alex are able to continue their recent stat trends throughout the season they will be 1st team/2nd team all-americans.
Goodwin, Poythress and Noel are looking like they’re gonna be a special trio of freshmen.
All 3 of them have unbelievable talents and especially Archie and Nerlens seem to have “it”, just something special to their game
I agree with #3. Freshman of the week? Those look like Player of the Week numbers to me.
Should be player of the week.
Ole Miss’ Murphy Holloway was player of the week
