Archie Goodwin got nasty in practice

This week’s candidates for the Helmet Dunk Award are up over on CoachCal.com and Archie Goodwin’s put-back dunk is the favorite, and maybe the best we’ll see all year. Archie followed up a Willie Cauley-Stein miss with a very athletic slam over Ryan Harrow as Jarrod Polson, who should’ve put a body on Goodwin, and everyone else looked on. I’ve got a feeling we’re going to see more plays similar to this one from Archie throughout the season.
Go watch it here and vote for Archie or Willie Cauley-Stein in the online poll.

archie ftw!
Archie’s dunk is sick, shows his level of athleticism too! But I think Polson should get the helmet for not staying on his man and………. I don’t think the helmet would fit too well over Harrow’s haircut anyways.
My vote went to Archie…not even close!
You’re full of it bashing Jarrod. His assignment was to block out Alex, which he did. Although Alex pushed him out of the way, he took himself out of the play doing it, so Jarrod was sucessful in his assignment. Why you would single him out is beyond me. You never played the game, did you?
@2 if his dunk is sick, I hope it gets well soon.
Learn from the pros to get the eff outta the way or grab some waist when someone is going to throw down like that! Helmet award indeed!
