Anthony Davis caps off incredible year with a gold medal

(h/t @acrphoto)

Anthony Davis was just part of the Team USA gold medal victory against Spain in the London Olympics, topping off quite possibly the best year ever for a collegiate basketball player. Freshman of the Year. Defensive Player of the Year. Player of the Year. Final Four MVP. National Championship. NBA First pick. Gold medal. And got to hold a really ridiculous stuffed animal in the moments of victory. Congrats to Anthony Davis, who is officially the youngest American to win a gold medal in men’s basketball. Best year ever? Stuart will be back with more details on the actual game at 1:00 p.m..

Capped it off with getting the final rebound. We’ll definitely see him in Rio…and likely playing at crunch time. Go AD!! You…were simply the best Freshman ever. (begins to tear up)
