Anthony Davis and Nerlens Noel autograph session to benefit Boston relief efforts

Nerlens Noel has spent the better part of this week traveling around the state to meet with Kentucky fans and sign autographs. According to Chad Sanders, who has been helping organize the events, Noel’s favorite part up until this point has been visiting the young children in the schools across the Bluegrass. This weekend will kick-off a special event though, and one that is near and dear to Noel’s heart. Nerlens Noel¬†AND Anthony Davis will be signing autographs together this weekend at the Fayette Mall in Lexington. A big portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Boston relief efforts following the Boston Marathon tragedy last week.¬†

Two of the best shot blockers to ever put on the Kentucky uniform will finally be side by side. Don’t miss your chance to meet with both young men. The event will last from 3-5 p.m. on Saturday April 27th at the Wildcat Wearhouse in Fayette Mall. The autographs will start at $25 a piece, with special bonus packages including both starting at $45. Again, a portion of the proceeds will go to benefit the victims of the Boston Marathon– a cause that hits very close to home for Nerlens Noel who grew up in the Boston area.

Go Cats. Go Krogering.

Sometimes when you recruit like Cal you end up with some duds or attitudes. But Cal has gotten some really high character guys in these last few seasons.

A PORTION of the proceeds?!?! LOL. Let’s use a national travesty to make a buck for ourselves. We need 50% of that dollar just as much as the guy with no legs….

    4) what’s wrong with #3? The people who have life long lasting injuries need the money for medical bills far more than Noel or Davis. I say all proceeds should go to those affected by the tragedy

3 – Give me a break. They are making money from autographs, not using a national travesty. They are donating money to a good cause. Doesn’t matter if it’s some or all, it’s something. It’s their money and they are giving some of it.

What percentage of your paycheck are you donating to the bombing victims?…

    3. It’s laughable that you think Anthony Davis needs the money from an autograph session… You see guys keep 100% of these things all the time. It’s nice gesture even if it just half.

Look, people…folks wont be there bc the money goes to Boston Marathon victims. They can donate on their own if thats the case. They are going to get autograps from UK greats. Agent takes theor share bc agents are @$$holes and all the players’ share goes to the charity. Thats how it works. If the agent donates from their share or not then thats on them and their conscience.
