Anthony Davis and Matt Roark to throw out the first pitch

UK Legends Anthony Davis and Matt Roark are set to the throw out the first pitch this weekend when the Cats take on the LSU Tigers at Cliff Hagan field. Roark, best known for his streak-busting tendencies, will throw out the first pitch tonight at 6:30 when the series kicks off. Davis is set to throw out the first pitch at Sunday’s game.

Fans will also be able to see the 2011-12 NCAA Championship trophy during the pregame on Saturday, with gates opening at 12 p.m. ET and the trophy available to fans until first pitch at 2 p.m. ET. This is a big series for UK Baseball as they take on the number one ranked team in the nation in LSU. Winning this series will ultimately help the team gain more confidence on their way to competing for a national champion this summer.

Go Cats.

Couldn’t Davis just stretch his Right Arm out from the mound to the plate and hand the ball to the catcher?

I am confused. Is KSR telling us to root for UK Baseball or root for the opening pitch?
