Another day, another Top 25 poll filled with SEC teams

The college football season is now 3 weeks old, with many teams diving into the conference slate of games. It’s always hard to get a grasp on what the national championship picture will look like this early in the season, but one thing is certain once again: The SEC continues to dominate the Top 25 polls. After 3 weeks of play, 6 teams from the SEC are in the top 25, with 4 cracking the top 10.

1. Alabama

6. LSU

9. Georgia

10. Texas A&M

12. South Carolina

19. Florida

21. Ole Miss

The top 10 in its entirety: 1. Alabama, 2. Oregon, 3. Clemson, 4. Ohio State, 5. Stanford, 6. LSU, 7. Louisville, 8. Florida State, 9. Georgia, 10. Texas A&M

Last I counted, SEC has seven teams in the top 25, not “just” six.

Could someone help me I was looking through the top25 list and couldn’t find 1 damn single team that u of l played. Surely this top25 is wrong seeing is how we are world beaters and all. Maybe they mixed our schedule up with a d2’s team schedule.

@2 UofL is the only team within the top 25 who doesn’t have anyone in the top 25 scheduled to play them. May not even have anyone within the top 40 on their schedule. Their schedule is ranked 112th out of 120 in terms of difficulty.

Is UL only team in history to be ranked in the top ten to win and have another top ten team ranked ahead of them lose and not move up in the rankings?

Classic KSR – our conference is better than yours (at least in f-ball), so this makes it ok that I’m going to lose every stinking game conference game.

    Losers mentality…..

Believe me, it’s a whole lot more fun when you win most of your games, really it’s true, winning is actually a whole lot of fun.

Because UL has such a weak schedule, I don’t think they should be ranked in the top 10, maybe not in the top 15.
