Committing now is like buying tickets to the SECOND trans atlantic Titanic voyage… How could you commit after watching yesterday’s game? I hope this guy is a quality player, but I question the judgement and ability of any player that would pull the trigger after seeing what the Cats have put on the field so far this season.

our Admin is pathetic Mr. Thorton… please excuse their ignorance… hopefully u don’t quit as quick as our basketball-only-minded AD has… I loved when Mitch left the game right after his pre-game interview with Tom Leach, no more bullshit to be heard… thanks for leaving!

Welcome Shadrach! The Cats are in need of some reinforcements!

Bring your A game and don’t let the baskeball only bearded ladies spill their girl drinks on you when you get here.

    7) I left at the start of the second quarter. Right after newton threw that TD pass to a defensive lineman. but I got in a few boos before then don’t worry. You can call me a fake fan or ignorant, but we should accept this kind of play. We should be better than 48-10.

Joker during his post-game interview with Mr. Leach last night used the word correct as an adjective, noun and verb. Correct, Corrections, Correctable and correcting! It seemed like this was the only word in his extensive vocabulary!

Another one of georgia’s left overs. When are we gonna get some 4 And 5 star recruits. I know Cobb was only rated 2 stars but that was a rare mistake. These days the recruiting experts are pretty damn accurate. It’s not about X’s and O’s anymore it’s about Jimmy’s and Joe’s. Need better recruits to survive in the SEC.

FINK– go look at our fball results for the last 60 years and then tell me that any other school but UK would even have a fan base. fans quitting quickly? get real.

RISE out of your seat, walk to your car, drive home and wait for basketball season.

The only way Uk will ever have a great team is the AD must hire a HUGE name as a coach, pay a crap load of money to him and his staff and turn the other way while they CHEAT big time to get the best names…You know like they do at all the other big schools….

How many more days to BBM? I can’t watch or read about our football team anymore. Last night just amplified what has been happening since after the Andre Woodson era. Can’t wait for roundball season to start.

we got a 4 star qb coming in patrick towles and star dont mean nothing thats the reason you have football combines to see how fast the player runs etc and to look at there film to see how good they could be jusst cause they were good in high school dont mean there good in college. just like cobb he was a 2 star so 2 oe 3 star are not that bad.some of you all are not true fans your fake only want to jump on the bandwagon when were winning so quit your complaining

You wonder why we cannot get recruits to come to UK? Take a look at this site as an example. All of you so called fans on here with all the negative talk telling players that they should go else where. You all are pathetic. If you all hate this coach and team so much why not stay the f*** off here until basketball season comes. True fans will stick with their team through the good and the bad and support the players and team no matter what. Am I pleased the way we are playing right now? Of course not, however, I’m not going to stop watching every minute of the game and pull for our players to get better.

Our fans se embarrassing. If you don’t stick around to support your team through the bad times don’t come back to celebrate the good ones. The players and the school deserve better than to be deserted when things aren’t going good.

People say we are bad fans but the natives are restless in Georgia (Mark Richt 98-36 record), Ole Miss (Houston Nutt 134-88), and Mike Leach 84-33. I don’t know if any of them would come here but I’ll take any of the three over what we have now.

-25–the UK fball program has been supported by fans filling commonwealth for as long as i can remember. these fans deserve better than to be subjected to the year in year out pitiful teams, only to be pacified with ‘we’re rebuilding’, ‘give coach another 3 years’, ‘wait til he gets his own players’…blah, blah, blah. if you think there have been good times to celebrate, then you are ignoring the history of the UK fball program for the last 60 years.

We played ok. We faced a really tough Florida team with a lot of speed. However, Newton is starting to show some strengths and the offense is starting to utilize those strengths. We will be okay.

For those that say we don’t have good enough high school players in KY explain Coach Cal’s success. If we had a coach with a good track record we could recruit the players and coach them to compete.

  35. Triple G

There is nothing wrong with having three star players, but they don’t usually produce until their 3rd year. All I am saying is that if you don’t get enough college ready players, hence the 4 and 5 star rating, then you will never win the SEC east or compete consitently in the SEC PERIOD….
