Andrew Wiggins will sign Tuesday at around 12:15. He will not hold a press conference type ceremony. Just classmates, family and friends

Gonna be honest here. My confidence on him signing for us has gone way down the past couple days. Just from what I’ve heard it appears as if he will be a Seminole. Still hope he signs for us though. I guess Fla St is the 2nd best option though.

I say his parents and best friend trumped playing at UK. I don’t know Andrew at all, but I feel he is too kind hearted of a kid to let them all down.I feel he will sign for FSU. It is a shame if I am right, because he would have been an instant fan favorite and regardless of what people say about playing time, if he is the warrior we all think he is, he would have been on the court when it mattered. I truly hope I am wrong.
23. The way this recruiting process has drawn out and all the publicity he’s gained from it pretty much says he’s not afraid of the big stage. What I meant was that I don’t think he wants to hold a press conference and would rather just announce to the people close to him.

Everything being said on this comment section is pure speculation. We should all know by now not to speculate when it comes to Andrew Wiggins because nothing is official. He hasn’t said a word, but yet Florida State seems like it has the edge.

When you’re that big of a talent you’re not gonna be afraid of the big stage, and if you are you’re gonna have to learn to break that fear because that’s apart of the game and the NBA i’d say is a pretty big stage. But I think back to how immature I was at 18 and try to imagine making a decision like this that had such an effect on so many people. He has been hounded for months by everyone wanting to know what he will do. The biggest choice I had at that age was where to find a job, and that really only mattered to me.

To the worrywarts, we’ve known all along he wasn’t going to make a big to-do out of his announcement. Many suspected he’d just tweet it after he decided.
This does not bode poorly for UK or for anyone else. While a fantastic player, he’s a private guy and doesn’t want tons of attention, though he knows he’ll need to get used to it eventually since he’ll be going to the NBA.

Most of us would like and probably think every stud recruit should choose UK. After all we are UK. In reality we do get our fair share (especially the past 4 years). We would like to think Wiggins would want to choose the Big Blue and make history with the greatest class ever. I have no idea which school he will choose. No matter where he goes his NBA future is set. College choice will not impact this future. With this being said, I does seem like FSU may well be his choice. One and done so follow parents and attend their school for that one year. UK will still be UK. Hope he does choose UK but if not our egos will be scared for a few days and life will go on. After reading all the opinions on here I concor that with the parents involvement up to the last minute that they are holding out for Florida State, while Wiggins, who neither wants to “hurt” his parents or coach Cal, has been torn between the two for months. Evan Daniel even thinks the two schools in contention are Kentucky or FSU.
At this late hour, barring his parents giving in to Andrew’s wishes, it appears they probably have won out and will get their way regarding him and he has consented to attend FSU. Aparently the introduction the past few weeks of North Carolina and Kansas were merely added into the mix by Andrew, as a means to get his parents to consent to another school besides FSU as a means of compromising versus going to UK.
Since no such compromise was forthcoming, they held fast to FSU. Andrew realized his dream of playing for Cal was not to be
without tearing his family apart.
There is only one other logical excuse for choosing FSU over Kentucky, and that is financial
considerations, FSU, is coached by Leonard Hamilton…just sayin’
Cal, cannot offer and will not offer any inducements to attend UK. The watchdogs even sift through the Calipari trash cans,
