Get ready to buy your Hartford Colonials jerseys, as the greatest QB to ever come out of Hardin County and play in the 2000’s at Kentucky, Andre Woodson, will spend a season in the newly created UFL. He will be competing for playing time with Bill Stull (Pitt) and Josh McCown, the evil spawn of Cade McCown. Rick Bozich had a chance to catch up with Woodson and talk about the new team.
And in an interesting twist, Andre will be coached by former UL whipping boy Dave Ragone. Although I will say, in all honesty, I got to know Dave a little working at the radio station, and he is a good guy…..with very little hair.
Anyway, Woodson will begin the season on September 18th against a team from Sacramento. Here’s to hoping he strikes it big and gets another shot in the NFL. He can’t be any worse than Rex Grossman, and that guy made a Super Bowl.
