And the first Big Blue Madness commit is…

Six-foot Class of 2014 female forward Jaycee Coe from Cookeville, Tennessee commited to Coach Matthew Mitchell and the UK Women’s Basketball team following Big Blue Madness this weekend.

This report is coming from the Herald-Citizen out of Cookeville. Check out this excerpt from this article:

Coe, who has helped lead the Lady Blue Devils to back-to-back Class A state tournament appearances, committed Saturday to play for coach Matthew Mitchell’s program, which advanced to the Elite 8 last year.

“I’m just so blessed to have this opportunity,” Coe said. “Kentucky has always been my dream school, and to get to play there is 10 times better.”

Congrats to Coach Mitchell, I’m sure it was his dance moves that sealed the deal.

Ms Coe is not from Cookeville, she is from Jackson County. Her Dad Joey played for Tennessee and her mother for Eastern Kentucky. You writers need to pay a little closer attention.

When they wiped out the dirt bags comments, they wiped out all of our comments, and I do want to say welcome to the family of Big Blue Nation! Every fan appreciates your commitment and your dedication!

Yes they did KentuckyGentleman, but I am glad they did so. I was saying earlier that I was talking with the family this morning at church, and they are thrilled. They have always been one of my favorite families b/c they always sport the UK gear proudly do here in TN. Great family and I am excited to know someone playing for UK soon.
