An odd first half here in Rupp….early on it looked as if Rick Pitino had gameplanned the game perfectly. Zone trap defense that left Kentucky standing around looking out of sorts. Patterson struggles early (including two 3s I have never seen him take before) and the Cats seem on the verge of getting blown out. But then Billy Clyde adjusts and puts his five best guys in (will Crawford ever start?) and the game changes. I still dont know why we dont play zone to force more awful 3s from the Cards, but the Cats have looked good in the last ten minutes. The Cards can win this game if they will go inside…..but they havent shown a desire to do so, and lets hope that continues.
Cats lead by one….cross your fingers….
