It’s amazing how many great players wanted to follow Derek Willis to UK. It’s as though once he committed everyone else just fell into place. And so of course, this class will be forever known as Derek and the Dominos.

Johnson was just recently measured as a true 7 footer. Although Young is listed as a SF some sites have him as the 2nd best shooting guard in the country behind Harrison.
Now the CATS need to sign at least the top 3 high school football palyers in the state of Texas.

I think they may want to change how you name All-Americans. Instead of wanting to be a McDonald’s All-American, everyone would love to be named a Calipari All-American. A Califpari All-American would be the elite of the elite. So, congratulations to the first class of Calipari All-Americans.
I doubt we are going to get Hawkins. Not enough scholarships if wiggins comes (and I would save it for him). Hood and polson will both not have a scholarship next year. This is unless a few leave that we are not expecting. Anyways……what about this monster class?? This year’s team didn’t have anyone near the Harrison’s or young that can shoot and handle the ball and definitely no one near randle. Think if Noel would have stayed in this class. Then we would be about a 99.9% chance of going undefeated (still a 85% chance anyways). Also, any other team besides UK would be excited about just one of these kids. Count your blessings BBN like I do. If we didn’t have Coach Cal this wouldn’t have been possible. So get off the “fire Cal” wagon and thank coach Cal for spoiling us once again. BBN let’s show this kids more love than we already have!!!! Next year is going to be so great for this program. Do I hear 8-10 kids drafted in first round???? I bet so!!!! Go Big Blue!!!!!!

#14 raises a good point, this is a really long group of kids, Our defense next year has the potential to be absolutely terrific if we can find one or two players that take pride in shutting down the oppositions best player. One or both of the twins perhaps? Goodwin maybe? Of course if Noel or WCS come back the middle will be all but locked down. One big time defender on the perimeter and we’ll be holding opponents to 50ppg!
There are going to be some unhappy guys from this year’s team if they do come back. Wiltjer won’t play next year, nor will Harrow. Poythress will come off the bench as maybe the 8th or 9th guy in the rotation. Stein might get minutes, but between Johnson, Randle and Lee…there won’t be that many minutes. Goodwin will get the most PT of returning players IMO.
Did anyone else notice that Andrew and Aaaron are from the same high school and have the same last name? Are they related or something? I mean, they even look alike!
#35 WCS will still get plenty of minutes . He’s improved so much. He’s 7-0 and runs the floor like a point guard with that much talent around him he will be relentless! Archie will get mins but not in front of Harrisons, or young or possibly Wiggins. Poythress will have to get very intense if he wants to see the floor. I love Kentucky
Imo WCS will be playing in the nba next year though.

#38 you mean Daniel Orton Cauley Stein? You might be right, but based on his shaky performance vs. the fightin’ Bobbie Morris’s, no way he should go to the draft. He will ride the pine. Granted, he would be a wealthy benchwarmer, but still…
#35 you are out of your tree if u think WCS dosent start, Johnson is a very good and wide body but athletically WCS blows this kid out of the water and at that a 2nd yr WCS, i say the starters will be Harrison 1 and 2, Young or Poythress depending on cals attitude, Randle, and WCS, DJ back up to WCS and goodwin can be a back up to the one or two, and lee backs up randle

I wish Noel wasn’t already Top 3. This is a group he deserves to play with. Going Top 3 he will just go from a sucky team this year to another sucky team next year.

N 13,19 n whoever else you’ll r dumb I don’t know many rational UK fans who thought we were going to be dominate this year, yes the season was a failure and we did underachieve greatly but while we should have still been a good team most true fans I knew understood it wasn’t the same kind of classes we had with AD MKG, wall cousins, or even b knight jones… Next years class is right back on track with those and pre season wise is the best of the bunch we will be back next year without a doubt! #BBN

WCS, Poythress, and Goodwin, will go, but wouldn’t mind seeing Goodwin come back. He seemed like he was starting to get it.
Poythress, actually could fit into the Miller mold, if he improves his ball handling, and develops a pullup jumper in the lane.

To all you fans who were crying yesterday morning about the RM debacle , I told you the sun would shin again and it didn’t take long did it. I wonder how many on here today praising Cal were on here yesterday calling him out for a bad year. This class is not over yet there may be another surprise coming. Let the trolls have their day but live in fear for next year.
Wiggins to mom. Mom I want to win a championship, stay one year and get mega millions the next year. Mom, if I go to Florida State I will not win a championship. I want to practice with teamates that will make me so much better, please let me go to Kentucky and be part of history, the greatest recruiting class of all time in college basketball, it will never be toped. Mom I will be in the sports history books.
