A’dia Mathies picked 10th by the LA Sparks in the WNBA Draft
Congrats to A’dia Mathies, who was just drafted 10th by the Los Angeles Sparks in first round of the WNBA Draft.
Mathies is the highest draft pick in UK Hoops history and the second first-round pick in three years. Victoria Dunlap was picked 11th by the Washington Mystics in the 2011 WNBA Draft.

$39,998 is what last year’s pick was paid, most WNBA players play in Europe in the off season to make more money.
