if we have #1 and #2 picks on the same team, these guys had better at least make the championship game of the tourney

hey rick, can you explain why you don’t talk to media after losses?
rick: that’s a ridiculous question. no coach has anything great to say to the press after a 30 point loss.

Richie Farmer is going down in flames, as he should over this mess. And to know that he had inflated his ego big enough to even one day put himself in the running for the UK AD job is laughable. Cops, come and try and snatch my crops…

Tubby not working out? Slow basketball? Running players off? But he’s such a ‘GREAT’ guy!!!! What a joke.

I don’t think Josh needs a no-defense diva tellin him anything. Just remember what Cal taught you and listen to Mike and you’ll be alot better off.

i’m with ya #1. i love these guys…but i’m curious where kidd-gilchrist fits in on an nba lineup. outside shooting is clearly an issue. yes, he’s a warrior and has a great “motor”, but he can be pretty out of control at times. it sure would be nice to see these guys stick around for a couple of years to develop their games.
    go cats.

Right on 14. Any true Kentucky fan should have nothing but the best wishes for Tubby. His recruiting methods were too old school to get it get it done here, but he was an excellent ambassador for the integrity of UK and college basketball in general. GO GOPHERS.

Tubby wins tonight at Indiana, playing without his best player.

I was going to write something negative about Tubby but then discovered his Gophers beat Indiana. Maybe the wheels are falling off but they were on for that game. And since Indiana dismantled us, I’ve got nothing to say but Congratulations Tubby! Might go put on my 98 championship sweatshirt.

Nice win, Tubby. Never understand why some UK fans wish him ill will – all he did was win a title and run a clean program…

    Hmm let’s see:

Rick Pitino rebuilds the entire UK program, goes to 3 Final Fours, wins a title, leaves (in an albeit stupid move) and is villified / universally hated by the BBN.

Tubby Smith wins a title and managed to go undefeated in the SEC and came within a whisker of making 2 more Final Four appearances, leaves the program (smart move given that his recruiting had slipped and people were ready to chase him out of Lex Vegas) and is hated by many of the BBN. Dare I say a majority?

Don’t feel left out Cal, it will happen to you too.

Not even the best mustache in the country can save Richie Farmer’s political career. Putting his girlfriend on the payroll was more than the stache could hide from the public and the media.

    Great links there:

The article about Harrellson is unbelievable to read. ESPN covering him for the majority of the article on how his role with the team is growing and how when he makes shots it opens things up for their star scorers. Its remarkable to see how important he is to them.

Second is yet again more proog Tubby was a sham and the people of criticized UK fans for being fed up with his underperformance here at UK were dead wrong. I tire of hearing how he had great success while at UK. You don’t have to try very hard to have the success he had here. If you are trying, it ends up something along the lines of what it is now. So for all the guys that defend Tubby locally and nationally, he needs you right now. They are sick of him in Minnesota now as well because he has failed and they are fed up. No shock to the people who knew he wasn’t taking our program where it needed to be from the moment he played his son over Cliff Hawkins.
