    how could a kid possibly skip 2 years of high school?!?….that’s a LOT of summer English & Math classes!!!!

    So if he reclassified to 2013, wouldn’t that mean he would have to stay 2-3 years?? Since he’d still have to be 19 to be drafted, when is his birthday?

    2 yea i definetly agree thats a ton of extra classes but if it was in his plans all along he mightve already been taking extra core classes instead of wasting time with sill electives like we all did
    3 yes no matter how many years in college the kids still gotta be 19

    3 I think he’s 17 close to 18 now. Read that he was 17 for his soph. year.

    Why would he go anywherelse? i don”t know if he should skip 2 yrs of hs. This is getting a little silly. These kids are getting in to big of a hurry to be grown.

    Can somebody explain to me how MKG was drafter this year at age 18?? Everything I’m reading, including quotes from David Stern, say a kid has to be 19 years old and one year removed from their class’ high school graduation???

    7 the posters on message boards said bc he turned 19 before/during the NBA season he qualified. His bday is in Sept so I guess that grandfathered him in.

    That’s not what I read, or what Stern said, but it’s the only thing that makes sense.
    Still, Towns would haves. to stay at least 2, and maybe 3 years. He could be REALLY good by then.
