of course Calipari has dealt with the turnover well, he’s went to the
Elite Eight, Final Four and won a championship.
I was advised, in no uncertain terms, to lose the game so that we did not have to break barriers….so that we, would never engage, nor embrace – the race.
Rupp’s Runts took our place.
Ever since.
And, I have instructed all alumni to ensure that there is no mention of defeat by KENTUCKY by The Baron; or, the fact that we, DUKE University, recruited no coloreds/blacks/African Americans, back in the day.
For Duke, it tarnishes our reputation; we prefer to emulate excellence by sweeping all human hardships – under the hard wood.
