Cal looks very orange there
I think we can all agree Jones is not coming back next year.
I know people assume Knight and Lamb are coming back. I think neither will be back next year but even if they do it will just give us a team full of shooting guards with only Wiltjer and Davis as viable big men. So next year’s team won’t be any better than this years.
Davis, Gilchrist and Teague will only play 1 year at UK so we can’t expect any better on 2011-12. It’s time to take off the blue-tinted glasses and man up to the fact that every year under Calipari will be like this year in terms of depth and experience.
2 – When you walk into a room, people run, don’t they? I mean, they don’t run to you, they run away from the giant lude that is you. You are just a little ray of sunshine, aren’t ya Sport?
2, sooooo??
The talk of the one and done has been a hot topic as of late. My preference would be to get the four star athlete that hangs around for a few years. Freshmen don’t have the experience to fall back on to get you through the six games needed to hang a banner. Reload after reload after reload won’t get you into the final four. It may be nice to have 3 or 4 of the nation’s top recruits for bragging rights but if they can’t bring you a championship you need to look for different talent.
2–agree totally. surely a program like UK can find a coach somewhere who isn’t hell-bent on recruiting the best players in the whole damned country. i mean wtf?

2, you’re an idiot.
It would not surprise me one bit if someone told me the same people that cry about all the one and done players were the same ones who complained about Tubby not recruiting the big names.
#2 Dont worry we will all be dead in 50 or 60 years so what does it matter how long the top recruits stay with us.
We go after the best in the country and the best in KY. Who knows what happens after that. Who was that fellers name that disrespected Monkeys Eyebrow?
that yahoo article about everyone leaving suggests jorts as a first round draft pick
seriously…
haha
Heck, anybody knows (cept him i guess) that the Eyebrow is rite next door to Bandana Ky. People from all over tha world go there for waterfowl huntin. Joe B. was a regular. That person is obvious not familiar with huntin. I learnt not 2 call anybod a fool. Although i could make an exception.
#9…yeh..I complained that at the end Tubby wasn’t recruiting. I don’t think you’ll find many that disagree. The only point that some of us are making…and lord forbid others have a different opinion…is there needs to be a balance about getting 4 stars that will be around for 3 years and mix in newbies. Program has been brought back to national prominence but we will only be thought of as being truly back and dominant is if we start showing up in championship games and winning. Once your team is bounced out of the tournament they hardly utter your name the rest of the championship.
Can we not let Cal’s 2nd season play out before we damn his recruiting?
#2, sit down and turn your brain on for a sec…if we hire a coach that “does it the right way”, it’s going to take 4+ years to see anything like what we saw on the floor last year. At that point, we become a 2-4 year cyclic competitor, just like under Tubby. You wanna go odds on what Cal will accomplish in the form of a core group of players in that same time frame? Not to mention accomplishments on the floor?
I’m watching Vandy vs Miss St. Renardo Sidney is a fat, lazy piece of crap! He acts like he is about to snap on someone at any time. He is the poster child for the type of player the NCAA loves to reward. What a frigging joke!
where everbody?
They are all out looking for 2). And yeah, Miss St. is not through imploding yet.

Funniest post of the night so far.
Always look forward to these links, but why link something written by a fan on Yahoo? I stopped reading once I read the words, “Josh Harrelson could go in the first round”. C’mmmmoooonnnnnn mannnnnnn
If these freshmen all go in the first round then the NBA will be desperately down this year in the available draft players. IMO Jones if any player of the group will go but the other two know they need more seasoning. Not rocket science…
The link about losing 4 players again takes you to a yahoo article that looks a whole lot like a ripoff of BTI’s article from yesterday. You know BTI has made it big when people plagiarize him.
