Never will forget him tugging on his tie looking like “ohhh sh*t” when we pulled off the mardi gras miracle…….and has any coach done less with more talent than Brown, my goodness, he had Chris Jackson and Shaq…….okay maybe Thad Matta or Barnes at Texas.

Well, that solves that mystery – Poole blew chunks. Good job working out on his own, though. Just take a look at Harrelson’s mandatory running and how much it has helped. Go get em Stacey.

    1) And Cal last year and Tubby with Rondo, Crawford, Morris and Bradley. Gotta be honest.

Watching Stacey Poole really showed me how “not ready” he is. He’s extremely athletic but his skill level is stil like a Junior in high school. Stacey needs to focus on defense and if he does that, his offense will come around.

    2. yeah but Cal didnt have last years guys for 2 or 3 years and over his entire career, I think Brown, Matta and Barnes have consistently had talent and never can do anything with it. I may put Barnes number 1 actually, the guy can sleep walk into a top 10 recruiting class and cant perform

i think it is unfair to compare the progress of john wall and demarcus cousins….they play totally different positions…in the NBA it takes so much for big men longer to develop…can’t defend big cuz’s maturity issues though…but u can tell he means well and is a good guy and that his team mates like him and that should go a long way

@ Dale. Even Cal says Poole’s skill level is way better than he thought. Cal errored with him early by yanking him in and out for 1 mistake. The kid isn’t afraid of the opponent or the crowd. He’s playing tight because he knows if he does 1 thing wrong, he’s out and won’t get another chance for 4 games. Nobody can play loose and confident with a leash that short. He’s better than alot of the players they play. Boston U? Please!! Winthrop? Stop it! And he got no run. Remember All-Tourny @ NBA draft camp. MVP of 3 major AAU tourney’s. And state champ on a top 15 HS team in America.

Self correction; NBA top 100 camp. And better than players who they play against, and remember Liggins was Poole last year. Dude is very laid back and I think he gets mislabeled as not going hard because of it.

i was really impressed with the improvement i saw in hoods 1-1 defense.. though it is not where it should be.. i felt like it was vastly improved from previous games….i didn’t pay much attention to his help d or rotation but ithout he looked a little better

#8 if i am not mistaken hood has the highest vertical on the team and he is extremely athletic…. hoods main problem was his latteral movement.. side to side staying in front of his man he just never seems ready to defend.
