A Jon Davis decision is coming…
According to Jody Demling, Eastern football star and current Kentucky commitment will make a decision either today or tomorrow on whether or not he will switch his commitment to Illinois or Louisville. Davis has visited each school and said several times that he remains committed, though his father did recently express concern over UK’s abundance of tight ends – something that’s not necessarily a bad thing a lot of instances.

This will either be a huge win or a huge loss! All indications are that he is a longtime Kentucky kid. I hope he picks the CATS! If not, than UI.
If he doesn’t pick UK, and goes to U of Smell, wonder what this does to the Joker/Strong relationship?

I currently go to Eastern High School with Jon Davis, he ALWAYS wear an UK sweatshirt EVERY day. Nothing to worry about.

Sounds like Davis really wants to play for UK, but that his dad is concerned over playing time — which is never a good situation when your parents are expressing their concerns publically. Parents should always advise their kids about a huge decision like this, but they should never do it publically. It makes them look overbearing and sometimes a little nutty.
UK wants committed football players….not one who doesn’t know what they want. If Davis has doubts then he doesn’t believe in himself enough too play at the SEC level.

Come to Louisville!!! Kentucky will never be “anything” in SEC football.
Come to Kentucky, really learn how to really play the position against the best defenses in the nation and be the next guy catching passes from the likes of Peyton Manning.
Not to mention the fact that at least 2-3 tight ends will move to D-end or Tackle like Zipp Duncan did.
Play football at UK with some of the best defenses in the nation, or go to Loserville, play flag football in the big least!
