3 reasons to watch the Jordan Brand Classic tonight at 8 p.m. on ESPN2

(Oh hey, John Wall!)
Hopefully most of you will be sitting comfortably in Commonwealth Stadium at 8 p.m. tonight for the Blue/White game, but if not– tune into ESPN 2 at 8 p.m. for the Jordan Brand Classic Game. If you are headed to the spring game, set your DVRs accordingly. The future of Kentucky basketball will once again be on display during the game. Below are 3 reasons to watch tonight’s game:
1) You might get a preview of what a good portion of the starting line-up could look like next year IF Andrew Wiggins picks Kentucky
The bulk of Kentucky’s 2013 recruiting class (Andrew Harrison, Aaron Harrison, Julius Randle, Dakari Johnson, Marcus Lee and James Young) are all participating in tonight’s game.
The East Team in particular though features Andrew Harrison, Aaron Harrison, Julius Randle and Andrew Wiggins. If Wiggins commits to Kentucky, you could be looking at 4 of next year’s starters. Hopefully the Jordan Brand Classic staff will humor us and make that line-up happen at some point. And if so, just allow your mind to fantasize about that line-up for a moment.
2) Andrew WigginsÂ
In addition to the future Wildcats, a potential future Wildcat will also be taking center stage at the event tonight. The #1 prospect in the country, and the most highly touted high school prospect since LeBron James, will take the court tonight. If you happen to be in the minority of people who are “over” the whole Andrew Wiggins recruitment, just watch him play. You will quickly jump back onto the “Wiggins to Kentucky” bandwagon.
Wiggins will have the chance to play on the same team with 3 of his potential Kentucky teammates next season. Having Andrew Harrison as your point guard has to be enticing, right?
3) Drake
If you are over the age of 30, disregard #3. If you are a high school basketball player considering Kentucky, just remember that Drake is friends with John Calipari. And yes, that is cool.

People over the age of 40 probably don’t know Drake. However, most people under 40 know his music.

I’m 34, who is this Drake feller you speak of, does he own that bar next to Malones? Anyway it’s after 9 so I’ll check back in tomorrow to find out cause i gotta head to bed.
I think we’ve got at least 3 guys in double digits. If Wiggins commits to UK, looking back at this game, UK commits will have something like a fourth of the points scored.
Kentucky, especially Randle, is dominating the end of this 2nd half.
Randle’s gonna be special. End of the game and he’s still flying and hustling and bullying to the rim.
