    1. Always one person in every football post to say that. For the last time, it’s about the offer sheet for a true comparison. The 3 stars before were choosing us over ball st.

    3. Not to mention that every school has plenty of three star commitments. Even Alabama has their share.

All those 5 players would really push us towards a top 10 Class. Add in some Lineman and I will be jumping through the Roof! BBN! Proud of the Coaches and hope they keep it up!

18…That’s how many 5 star players there are on Rivals’ football list. There are 20 on their basketball list.

Think about that, then understand the importance of getting a 4 star for a school like UK.

elam would be huge pickup. getting big-time DTs & DEs can really change a defense.

25th in the country, but only 9th in the SEC. Brutal competition.

Very thin line from about 3rd to about 10th in the SEC as far as recruiting goes. Classes like these plus the Stoops coaching train and we’ll be right in the mix. Go Big Blue! Sugar Bowl 2015

#4 sure Bama has 3 star recruits. But last year they also got four 5 star kids and thirteen 4 star kids. UK had zero 5 star and three 4 star kids. You think that might make a tiny difference?

    13. You do realize you are comparing UK to Alabama right? That itself is a great achievement with a new coach who hasn’t even started coaching a real game yet…Give Stoops and UK time…

Three stars can turnout to be just as good if not better than 4 star and 5 star recruits. You need 22 players to field a team. There are programs who sustain success year in and year out who do not get the amount of highly rated recruits in football such as Florida and Alabama. It’s all about development and it is a lot harder to get exposure in some states (ex: Kentucky) than others. You can have a great football team all comprised of three stars. It all depends on player development and coaching.

Anyone even comparing this to joker is an idiot. Couldn’t even imagine how bad it would be if we had joker. We sure wouldn’t have barker or snodgrass. Probably none of these guys really

Comparing Bama and UK football is like comparing apples and oranges. Both are considered fruits and that’s where the comparisons end.

#14 what r u talking about? I did not compare UK FB to Bama FB. I was simply pointing out #4’s ridiculous comment about Bama having 3 star recruits, where he conveniently omitted the fact they get many 4/5 star recruits, and we get very few. Reading comprehension must be a dying art.

#15 pot calling kettle black. Nice little theory about teams having success with lower ranked recruits and having a great team with 3 star players. Now, remind me again how many of those teams compete in the SEC, where member teams play 8 games against each other? Why do I give a crap how good Boise St ‘s record is with their 3 star recruits? Doesn’t help us. Saw a pertinent comment about UK FB on a sports site the other day (I think espn). They said UK could be 25% improved and still go 3-9. Sadly true.

SMH at the doucehbags who come on here and complain that we’re not getting enough 5 stars. We’ve got exponential improvement already and he hasn’t even coached a game yet. I imagine there will always be some people who would complain about the color when given a free car.
