Never thought i’d see the day that UK football attracts this level of talent! We could honestly be looking at a top 10 class next year. Unbelievable. But, i think we can get used to this.

“Kneel” keeps saying Hearns is a done deal, and everyone else keeps saying he won’t make it?

Hopefully, with good coaching, it will be worth the in-state kids time to actually come to UK.

I think this young man is pretty close to a must get…Watch his viedeos and you will see that he is ideal for the O that Coach Brown wants to run…Most important recruit to this program since Tim Couch…#7 John …PLEASE go watch his video and then tell me the same thing …Guy is MUCH better than either one of these kids and not downgrading either one…

    7. I think the staff has, or is going to, file for a medical redshirt for Maxwell Smith for last season since he only played in 33% of the teams games. I know for other sports the rule is 30% of the teams games for a redshirt but I was under the impression that Joker’s staff expected that Smith would have 3 more years of eligibility

It’s amazing to have KY. football dominate the 1st 3/4 articles on KSR when you first sign on. As for not needing to get another QB into the system, that is wrong by all means. Competition makes you better and allows the coaches to put the best player on the field. Take one look at Alabama football and you see how it works, they recruited 4 of the top 100 RB’s in the country this year, knowing that they all couldn’t play at one time. These kids could have went anywhere (4/5 stars), and they chose to compete. That is the attitude we need here at KY for football. Calipari has mastered it in basketball, time to make this a 2 team University.

Always need new QB blood in any recruiting class. Smith, Towes and Whitlow will all be soph. Look for whitlow to move to receiver to better use his skills. Smith as durability issues I believe. Towles may transfer depending on if he is named te starter or not, which i dot think he will. Phillips is an unknown entity at this time. Keeping all that in mind we may suddenly have a QB depth issue don’t we.

That 6’4” OLB better start eating and get some ass behind him otherwise he is going to struggle in the SEC…that or be moved to safety…or WR.
