2014 NBA mock draft and prospect compilation

Yes, it’s way too early. Yes, a lot will change during the college basketball season. But no, there is nothing else going on. A few of the most notable mock draft and college basketball sites have released their top prospects since the 2013 NBA Draft last month, and this spreadsheet compiles the list into one. Because only two, NBA Draft and Walter Football, have actually assigned the players to teams so far, I’ve separated them in the first two lists.

I have also consolidated the lists into one consensus 2013 mock draft and Prospect list. It’s not official, but it gives a good idea where most of those in the know feel players will go as of now.

Adding up the points — 30 for 1st overall, and 1 for 30th overall — Andrew Wiggins is the clear-cut No. 1 overall pick at this stage. Julius Randle is hot on his tail, however. In total, there are currently six Kentucky Wildcats on the board; four of them good enough for the lottery.

For Kentucky, that is four players taken in the lottery. That would be quite the statement for Kentucky basketball. A long way to go, a lot of basketball to be played, but as you know… This coming season is going to be a lot of fun.

When there’s a tie, u skip the next #. 2 tie for 6th, the next guy is 8th.

I noticed in the first one, you forgot to bold WCS (5th overall to NO) … does this affect the list at the bottom?

I’m a huge Kentucky fan man, I’ll be honest. But really KSR? I see this story every day. Just let the season play out. I know it’s slow around this time a year but stop putting literally the same thing on here every day. If Randle goes to 1 or something, that can be a new story.

4 – Oops. That’s just me missing a “Ctrl+B.” No effect on the point total.

The 76ers will probably have 2 picks in the Top 10, including one of the Top 3. Washington will be out of the lottery.

Anyone else find it weird that Aaron Harrison is rated so much lower than his brother. I understand Andrew is more coveted because he is a PG, and such a prolific one at that. But Aaron isn’t lacking in ability to do his job. He is viewed as one of the best, if not THE best, scorers and shooters in his class. Is shooting really not that important?
