BTI’s Rants and Ramblings: State Football FINALS Begin Today

One of the better parts of the sports culture in this state is an extreme loyalty to one’s high school.  Some people consider their high school’s rival to be as important as their college one.  And while football still takes a backseat to basketball for most in this state, in some communities the football tradition is a source of great pride.  Well, we are down to the STATE FINALS with 12 teams now remaining for 6 state championships.  Starting in just a couple hours, the state championship games will begin in Bowling Green.  Along with the schedule, I have attached each team’s Lit Ranking before the playoffs began and their road to the title game to give you a sense of the favorite in each game.
