Archie Goodwin could brush up on his 1980s NCAA basketball trivia

I recognize those banners in the background.

Want to feel old?

After Rollie Massimino made his long-awaited return to Rupp Arena last night, Kentucky freshman guard Archie Goodwin was asked if he knew anything about Lexington’s history with Massimino and why his return to Rupp was so meaningful.

Archie admitted to not knowing who Massimino is and he assumed he is a former player or coach at Kentucky.

To be fair, Archie was -9 years old when Villanova won the 1985 NCAA Championship.

Why would Archie Goodwin know or give a crap about who Rollie Massimino is? I know who he is but forgot because who cares…

Archie wasn’t even born in 1985 so let’s give him a break on not knowing about Massimino! GREAT game Archie!

To saw he was 12 years old in 1985 would mean he was born in 1973. He must be the oldest freshman ever.

Being negative 12 in 1985 would make Archie 15 yrs old now. Math, as well as facts, are optional on KSR. It’s on their mission statement and everything.

You guys are stupid ignorant idiots that can’t read. He obviously put a negative sign which means negative. Most of you that post are just stupid

Drew, you attempt at a joke failed miserably. Archie was born in 1994. That would make him -9. Restructure your awesome joke.

Very close to the worst post in the history of KSR. Bad question to ask an 18 year old kid. Horrible math by Drew. Take a lap, Franklin.

Very very few born past 1985 know who this Mussolini character is. However, it is a funny reaction and worthy of posting the video.

Somebody needs a basic math refresher. If Archie is 18, he wasn’t born until ’94.

    His math is right you dumba$$e$. Add 9 to 1985, you get 1994 which means he is 0 years old in 1994 (just born). Now count with me 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012. Now how many numbers did I list (for those not comfortable adding or subtracting in the thousands place)? I count 18

average coach who made a long career out of a championship won years earlier. Damn this could be Tubby in a few more decades. Maybe Tubby should find a good NAIA job, would be more suited for his skill set.
