Anthony Davis added to U.S. Olympic pool

USA Basketball director Jerry Colangelo announced today that Anthony Davis has officially been added to the 22-man pool for the U.S. Olympic Team. NBA Sixth Man of the Year James Harden of the Thunder was also thrown into the group.
The deadline to cut the team to the final 12 was originally scheduled for June 18, but Colangelo was recently granted an extension due to all the injuries to his squad. Now, the final roster won’t be announced until July 8, two days after training camp begins in Las Vegas.

Congrats to Davis, hope he makes it.
Hate to break it to you, that is not London Bridge, it is Tower Bridge, #getshitright
Why are still talking about Anthony Davis? He’s off to the NBA. I personally dont watch the NBA or the Olympics and because my interests superceed everyone everyone elses, I dont think you should make posts about them.
Need to change that dorky-looking powder blue to Royal Blue 🙂
Anthony Davis could stand in the middle of an Olympic pool and touch both sides simultaneously! He could inhale all the water from an Olympic pool and spit it up into the air so far that it would evaporate before landing.
That’s the Tower Bridge.
They used to include top Collage player on the team. This really isn’t ground breaking. More returning to form.
Anthony will certainly make the team. Can’t wait to watch him in the Olympics!!! How awesome is that? Winning championships one at a time. NCAA first. World second. NBA third.
I’m a barber in western ky. A policeman (who is a huge ky fan) came in today. He was assigned to shadow The Brow to an autograph session in our city. Said star (think: center) charges $70 per pop. The officer said he was so disappointed in the guy’s attitude. First off, he wore an orange shirt & shoes, and was put out when an older fan requested he hold a uk shirt (with HIM on it) so she could get his pic for her elderly mother. He held the shirt sloppily with a surly look on his face. When a little boy timidly came up beside him and held the ball up, he shooed him away.
At another signing he called ahead and demanded a $20,000 up front, and called yet another place on the day he was scheduled to be there and blew them off. Kinda fun to see the disgusting reaction of my fellow barbers who are die-hard uk fans… just sayi
#7. They used to ONLY include amateur (college) players on the team. All the other counrties had pro players and the USA teams were starting to lose, so they decided to include pro players for the 1992 original (and only) Dream Team. As a nod to the college system that supported the games for so long, they decided to carry one college player and for some crazy reason chose Laettner over Shaq. Since that original team, I’m not aware of them carrying any college players for the Olympic level teams, so it is a pretty big deal.
#9–How many times are you going to post this pathetic lie and on how many different sites? Just because you repeat a lie enough times, that doesn’t mean it becomes the truth. Go away, troll.
