Tyler Ulis signs with the Golden State Warriors

(Orlando Ramirez-USA TODAY Sports)

Former Kentucky star Tyler Ulis has found a new home.

And he’ll likely get a championship ring out of it.

Ulis has signed a deal with the Golden State Warriors, joining former Wildcat DeMarcus Cousins in the Bay.

Anthony Slater of The Athletic broke the news:

Devin Booker no longer has his best friend in Phoenix, but the Warriors now have a stud backup point guard for pennies on the dollar.

Congratulations to Ulis on the big signing!

I guess Tyler and Boogie will have to kiss and make up now that they’re teammates.

It’s an Exhibition 10 contract, which is a training camp contract that gives a bonus to the player if he signs with the g-league team. So basically this just means that Ulis is likely just going to end up on their g-league team.

Yeah, it’s like going out fishing in a 50 gallon barrel. No sport in that! ?

Like any of you wouldn’t do the same if given the chance. I’m not sure Tyler had any other offers.

No different than what UK, dUKe, UNC and Kansas do. Every year we have the best team, talent wise, and the NBA picks seem to show that. Difference is 1 title vs many titles. If NCAA had a best of 7 our talent may have more titles but the tourney equals things out.

Yeah, how dare he accept a job offer when he needs a job!

This is great news! Congrats Tyler.
