Tyler Ulis beat up in elevator last year, Devin Booker chased after attackers

TMZ Sports just released footage of Tyler Ulis being beat up in an elevator last year and Devin Booker chasing after his attackers.

The incident happened May 26, 2017 in Tempe, Arizona. Tyler was trying to hold an apartment elevator for his friends, but a group of guys took offense and started a fight. One attacker put Tyler in a headlock and eventually, the fight spilled into the hallway.

Booker and Ulis’ friends found out about the fight and took the elevator down to the lobby to help Tyler out. Booker did not throw any punches, but helped chase the attackers out of the building. Police were called to the scene but no arrests were made.

This looks like Ulis being a priviliged eff head who was holding the elevator ENTIRELY too long and for himself. Then talked smack got in the guys face and started something so they wrapped him up and wouldn’t let him do anything. Non story here unless you want to admits Ulis is 100 percent at fault

I reviewed the film. It appeared as if TU was under the influence (by virtue of his physical instability which gives rise to that presumption). Next: TU bit off more than he could chew – with no back up. Second personal mistake. Third: The fact that hoodies were worn implies suspicious activity: On TU’s part as well as DB. With that said, I wonder if the SUNS cut TU loose for liability reasons. I respect that DB has his back. But it is now and historically apparent that TU can be a loose cannon – capable of errors in judgement.

hoodies mean suspicious activity lol WHAT

    3. TBW3011

I see TONS of suspicious activity in the winter.

    4. (Aixelsyd)0505

      Whaaaat!?

    5. TBW3011

Yeah. You lost me with the hoodie part. Lol. That’s comical.

    6. StuckinLville

J Did…you are a moron if you think a hoodie is suspicious activity.

    7. mashburnfan1

Ulis in the wrong and the suspicious activit and ignorant part by Booker is wearing the bandana over his face. Just lost respect for both guys and they were 2 of my top 10 faves. Ignorant display by both, good way to get shot.

    8. StuckinLville

Mash, I noticed the bandana too. Makes him look like the crazy Antifa idiots. But, we do need to realize never one of them can even legally drink yet…at least I don’t think. Young and dumb.

  2. StuckinLville

I love Tyler but this is on him. He clearly started the fight when he shoved the guy. Wear some pants that fit and pull them up next time and you might be able to do something.

  3. kyloudnproud

Tyler appears to be the aggressor here and being an a#$. Seems like he deserved what he got in this instance.

  4. blackmilk23

Ulis is at fault here. He shouldn’t have been trying to hold the elevator or shove that guy.

HOWEVER, those guys are kind of lame for jumping him. We used to fight one on one in my day.

    1. 4everUKblue

Agreed, he is the smallest on of the bunch and none of them was man enough to go one on one with him.

  5. kenny

I’m not a big fan of “hold the elevator for my friends” guy.

  6. bigbluebanana

Beat up is a strong phrase to describe this. He was pretty obviously under the influence, one can assume he talked some smack when those guys (rightly) grew tired of him holding the door open. After that, all I see is a headlock and Tyler being restrained.

  7. Rondo2Davis

So why were they tired of him holding the door open? They trying to go down while he’s trying to go up? Doesn’t make any sense…

  8. tiffincatfan79

So, the guy gets in Ulis’s face saying something and Tyler pushes him, but it’s his fault and he started the fight. Ok there guys. And he looked pretty stable when they came back down in the elevator, so saying he was drunk off a 15 second clip to start because he’s leaning on the door, is irresponsible. Finally, someone wearing a hoodie is not indicative of suspicious behavior.

    1. StuckinLville

It’s pretty clear he is blocking the elevator and this guy finally gets on. We don’t know what Tyler said first for the guy to get in his face, but pushing him is not how to deal with the situation. Tyler was in the wrong…point blank period. Then he goes and gets back up and tries to fight the guys? Just look at the video. How can you defend that?

    2. tiffincatfan79

Because you’re assuming that Tyler said something to instigate. Without audio you can’t say that. Maybe the guy called Tyler the N word off camera before he got pushed. You don’t know.

    3. TBW3011

Good lord. Everyone loves Tyler and you’re the only person who doesn’t think he’s wrong here. We don’t need audio to see that.

  9. (Aixelsyd)0505

Hopefully you don’t investigate sh*t, cause you suck lol

    1. (Aixelsyd)0505

      ^^intended for j.does

  10. (Aixelsyd)0505

What makes ppl think TU was drunk or under influence? TU was the only one I saw throw punches? That’s a scuffle not at all a fight…

  11. MadHatter

“Booker did not throw any punches, but helped chase the attackers out of the building.”
    Lol you show ‘em Book

  12. wyatts1

I love tu, dude has heart but besides the fact he’s 5’2 &1/2, how’s he gonna come off hard like that while wearing skinny jeans, that’s somehow still sagging off his azz lol those fools better be glad he wasn’t wearing a belt, or ball shorts.

  13. ScoggDog

I watched the video … and if those two played at UofL – the headline would be much different – and include “thug”.

They’re both lucky they didn’t get shot.

  14. JPGott2

    1. Tyler was probably drinking a bit.
    2. Never get in an altercation w your pants sitting mid thigh.
    3. I think the dude behind him when he let him in the elevator was talking shit, as Tyler turned around and got in his face then.
    4. DB backing up his best friend and chasing them out is nothing.
    5. Happened over a year ago.

  15. jarred_combs

Those guys weren’t even trying to hurt Ulis. They were just holding him to keep him from throwing punches. He was blocking the whole elevator(which you don’t do) and then started the physical altercation). Heck he’s lucky they didn’t beat the heck out of him he kinda deserved it. If anything those guys are the victim. Funny how being famous flips stuff.

  16. kjd

DB clearly didn’t want to be identified. Made sure hood was up and kerchief covering most of his face.

  17. TPACAT

Looks like he thugged-up, dropped his pants…

  18. the ghost of Bill Hicks

I can’t take anyone seriously when they wear their pants like that.

  19. terwilliger

Never ran into Tyler personally so I can’t speak to his character, but holding the elevator as long as he did was a dick move plain and simple. If your woman (or women) ain’t ready yet then let the people who ARE ready ride down and you can catch the next one. I do agree that those guys were p*$&ies though for piling on. But I dunno how anyone can watch that video and determine it was anything but Tyler’s fault.

  20. Dildo Baggins

Liberals sure can twist facts. What an insanely idiotic headline for a thread. You have to be a moron if you watch that video and can’t see that Tyler was the initial attacker.

  21. loservilletard

pull your damn pants up and man up Ullis. He got what he deserved for pulling that stunt.
