It feels like football season just began, but basketball is officially BACK.
Last night, several former Wildcats took the floor, and impressed, to kick off NBA preseason play.
The Denver Nuggets featuring two Cats took on the Golden State Warriors, defeating the reigning NBA champions by a final score of 108-102.
Jamal Murray finished the game with nine points (3-3 from beyond the arc,) three rebounds, one assist, and one steal in the victory.
Murray opened Denver’s preseason with a bow and arrow of his own:

Murray’s new teammate Trey Lyles finished with six points, four rebounds, and three assists in his team debut.
The new-look Minnesota Timberwolves took down the Los Angeles Lakers 108-99.
Karl-Anthony Towns finished with 15 points, six rebounds, three assists, and two blocks in his team’s debut victory.
Towns kicked off the third quarter with a beautiful stroke from beyond the arc, and then followed it up with a nasty block on Julius Randle on the other end.
