Anthony Davis’ new partnership with Ruffles has been good for the former Kentucky big man.
“Ever since I was a little kid, my two passions have been basketball and Ruffles. Ruffles have ridges, I have ridges. So we understand each other,” said Davis, shortly after he inked the first ever ‘Chip Deal’ this past summer.
His first move with the potato chip company was this video to announce the news and to introduce his new custom Ruffles sneaker:
Now Ruffles has a new product coming out and it was created to help Davis get over his fear of the dark.

Davis has said in the past he wishes he could get over his fear of the dark. He once told ESPN’s Sarah Spain he “watched too many crazy movies when I was a kid, and it just, it messed me up for life,” and he needs some kind of light on when he sleeps at night.
I don’t know how a glow-in-the-dark chip bag will help him overcome that fear, but I bet it will help sell some Ruffles because popular blogs on the internet are sharing this story.
