Pelicans’ Owner Seems Resigned to AD Leaving New Orleans

A stat sheet stuffer like Anthony Davis will have value anywhere he goes. Sure, it’s fun to watch Davis absolutely own opposing players as the Pelicans’ ace, but at the end of the day, championships will always be the biggest measure of greatness in sports. So for AD, it may be time to head somewhere where a task like making the playoffs is less of a question and more of an expectation.

Pelicans owner Gayle Benson seems to understand this, and she has stated that it is Anthony’s decision.

“I really like Anthony,” Benson said, via Real GM. “But if he wants to leave, you can’t hold him back”.

Davis is set to become an unrestricted free agent in 2020, and if he does, he will have suitors all across the league. If chatter from the LeBron James is any indication, we could see The Brow and The King team up in LA in the not too distant future.

    Hope Boston can get him.

Definitely. Keep him away from LA.

  2. Wade

Like to see him in Sacramento and grab herro in the draft or dare I say it zion. Sac won’t get zion but maybe herro, they would need shooters and he would get looks with fox and ad there! He can battle the other cali teams with lakers and gs. That would be fun out west and throw in spurs and rockets! That’s crazy.

      HELL NO!

      Sacramento is cursed.

  3. the ghost of Bill Hicks

Send him to Denver with a few other guys for Jokic, Barton, Porter and Morris to screw the major market teams.

I hope he goes to Boston. I’m not a huge fan of Lebron (not a hater, just not a huge fan).

Ant deserves that REAL chance to be on a Championship Team and Boston would give him that edge.

Or maybe Golden State can pick him up. lol

Would love to see him play for Brad Stevens. And he would join a very good young team with 2 or 3 perennial all stars. Great fit.

Lebron is getting old and the Lakers young players are not as good.
