New Orleans signs DeAndre Liggins

Shortly after he was waived by the Milwaukee Bucks, DeAndre Liggins has a new NBA home in New Orleans.

The Pelicans signed Liggins to a 10-day contract, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, which makes FIVE former Kentucky Wildcats on the New Orleans roster.

Go Cats.

Go Pelicans.

Just imagine… We could’ve had all these ex Cats playing in Louisville instead of New Orleans…

    Thanks again, Rick and Tom.

Can we just evict the dirty birds from YUM and bring in some birds that are higher up the food chain?

If four former Wildcats are good, five must be better.

Liggins and Miller fighting for playing time again. Heh.

Another familiar face for Cousins and Miller. Since the Suns and Kings gave up their claims to Kentucky’s NBA franchise, New Orleans has really stepped up their game.

Can someone explain the workings of a 10 day contract? I don’t understand it. I really wish Deandre could get a real contract for at least a year or 2….he’s such a good defender.
