LOOK: Anthony Davis wears “That’s All Folks” shirt to Pelicans game

IG: PelicansNBA

It’s no secret that Anthony Davis wants out of New Orleans, and ahead of what is likely his final game with the Pelicans, he spelled it out, sporting a “That’s All Folks” t-shirt on his way into the Smoothie King Center:

Davis has missed the last six games with back spasms, and I’m guessing he won’t play tonight vs. Golden State. What kind of reception will he get from the New Orleans crowd?

      Yes he is…

It’s not a purse it is a satchel…. It’s European. Indiana Jones had one.

One that isn’t as good as he deserves.

Love AD and all that he did for us but god this year he’s looked like a complete asshat with the pelicans. Lots of better ways he could have gone about leaving the pelicans.

I believe he tried to do the right thing by giving the Pelicans a heads up that he won’t re-sign. But when the organization pushed back, it just put everyone in a bad spot. I hate it for the fans, more than anything.

Those fans in NOLA don’t deserve him.

Yup, he gave them the chance to recoup some value and they decided it’s better to just let him walk… kinda like they did with Boogie. 2 absolute stud big men will walk away and they got nothing in return, that’s just awful management

Cousins was hurt and he’s not a winner in the league. They were right to not sign him. Maybe the Pelicans have bad management, but Davis should’ve kept business behind close doors.

Cousins was an all star playing for Sacramento. He never had the chance to be a winner.

His current contract isn’t up until summer of 2020, so a trade can still be done, and almost certainly will.

Their management is awful but coming out publicly and saying you only want to be traded to two specific teams is just pissing on the organization. You signed a massive max deal contract and now you’re upset that you have to actually stay with the team that entire tenure.

Agreed. Poor form in my opinion. He could’ve let them know privately he wasn’t go to sign a new deal. No need to run to the media saying you are demanding a trade. I don’t think he’s the same guy that he was at UK. Money gets to these guys heads and he’s no different. But he’s still a helluva basketball player.

Make that “a complete and total a$$hat”. Hope he learns from this…

Perhaps you’re right… perhaps you’re all correct in your assessment but how do you know that he didn’t try going to ownership/management behind closed doors and nothing came of it?
