Karl-Anthony Towns Injured in Auto Accident

Former Kentucky Wildcat Karl-Anthony Towns might have to miss a game or two after the NBA All-Star was involved in an auto accident.

Minnesota Timberwolves head coach Ryan Saunders told the media this morning the car accident happened as Towns traveled to the airport for the team’s road trip to New York.  He was excused from this morning’s shoot-around and is considered “questionable” for tonight’s game against the Knicks.

There were no further details about Towns’ accident, but luckily, it does not sound severe.  Best wishes from the BBN to a speedy recovery for the Big KAT.

I think these are the first NBA games he’s missed

Contractually, why he allowed to drive? He needs a driver, at minimum, to and from the Airport.
