I Could Watch Anthony Davis Highlights Forever

(Andrew D. Bernstein/NBAE via Getty Images)

Last night, Anthony Davis and the New Orleans Pelicans won their first playoff game in six seasons. Davis finished the night with 35 points, 14 rebounds, four blocks and two steals. He was on fire and I can’t stop watching his highlights.

I miss him.

I love seeing Davis dunk lobs he has no business catching. Dude’s got Inspector Gadget arms, and Rondo has always been able to put the ball anywhere he wants on passes.

Pels fans are really hoping Cuz and Rondo re-sign. With two dominant big men, Rondo can dish with ease, plus if he’s slowed down at all defensively, Davis is still an eraser inside. I think Cuz will want to stay there if they pay him fairly, as he really seemed to enjoy playing next to Davis and being on a contender. With Rondo, I haven’t heard any of the attitude/conflict with coaching staff that has often caused him issues in the past, but I haven’t followed the NBA much this year (or any year). Would be cool if they’re all there again next year. (Plus Miller and Liggins, too.)
