Rivals’ Krysten Peek caught up with five-star stud Zion Williamson at the USA Basketball mini-camp this weekend to break down his recruitment.

When asked about his upcoming visit to Kentucky for Big Blue Madness and his thoughts on UK, Williamson’s face lit up with excitement.

“My bro Immanuel Quickley already committed there, and he’s trying to get me to go to Kentucky with him. I’m really psyched about (the visit.)”

Williamson told Peek that he reached out to Quickley following his commitment to Kentucky, and they’ve remained in talks since then.

“I posted a couple pictures telling him “Congratulations to my brodie for committing to Kentucky.”‘

As far as goals for his senior season go, he has high expectations.

“Probably work on getting more triple-doubles, working on my all-around game,” he said.

But when is a final decision expected?

“Late November or early December,” he said. “But if it doesn’t feel right, then probably longer.”

Watch the entire interview, including other schools on his list, visits, and his time with Team USA.

Come on down, Zion.
