Ellen DeGeneres attended Sunday’s Cowboys vs. Packers game in Dallas, and while most of the headlines center around her sitting next to former President George W. Bush, another moment caught my eye this morning. DeGeneres and her wife Portia de Rossi are huge Packers fans, and while on the sideline before the game, spotted Randall Cobb, who left Green Bay for Dallas earlier this year.
“There’s Randall Cobb!” Ellen exclaimed. “We love you. We love you.”
Cobb greeted the group and gave Ellen and Portia hugs.

After the video started making the rounds today, Cobb followed up with a tweet:

On her show, Ellen discussed her trip to the game — specifically, sitting next to President Bush and the attention it garnered — the video of which has gone viral.
“Here’s the thing: I’m friends with George Bush. In fact, I’m friends with a lot of people who don’t share the same beliefs that I have. We’re all different, and I think we’ve forgotten that that’s okay that we’re all different.”
“Just because I don’t agree with someone on everything doesn’t mean that I’m not going to be friends with them. When I say, ‘Be kind to one another,’ I don’t mean only the people that think the same way that you do. I mean, be kind to everyone. It doesn’t matter.”
