WATCH: Deer runs through downtown Louisville, jumps into flooded river

We’ve seen some crazy footage of the flooding in downtown Louisville, but this video takes the cake. Watch below as a deer runs down the street and then jumps into the flooded Ohio River: (Some language NSFW)

(Video by Samantha Moore)

The river is expected to crest at 36 feet this afternoon, the highest it’s been in over two decades.

I give it a 9.7. Didn’t come out of her tuck soon enough and too much splash.

Oh give me a home…where the strippers do roam….where the deer and the Cardinals do pay

There being dislocated by flood waters. On 265 in Indian, all around silver creek, the sides of the interstate are flooded and the woods is underwater. Deer, turkey, coyotes, I saw them all standing in grassy areas and anywhere drym

Deer are really strong swimmers, so fret not my freind.

It should have been fine. She’s headed up 4th Street into shallower water. There should be dry land just out of the video area. However, then there’s a lot of traffic downtown.
