UofL’s new interim AD is a former UK baseball player

Adding even more insult to Louisville fans’ injury, UofL introduced Vince Tyra, a University of Kentucky graduate and former athlete, as its new interim athletic director. Tyra was a four-year letterman on the Kentucky baseball team.

As fun as it is to have a Wildcat infiltrating enemy territory, it’s not as good as it sounds. Tyra is the son of a UofL basketball legend; he is a long-time supporter of UofL athletics; and he became a member of the UofL Foundation Board earlier this year.

Tyra will take over AD duties for Tom Jurich, although it sounds like Jurich will eventually be back to claim his evil throne.

In the meantime, it is Tyra’s responsibility to get the Cards on track for reaching the ULAA 2017-18 goal:

No surprise that it will take a UK alum to inject some ethics into the u of l program.

    Rediculous that he sued KSR.

John Higgins is a wu$$. Can you sue someone for something that someone else did…I don’t think so.

    2. runningunnin.454

This should all but guarantee UK won’t see him at any of the games…..GOOD.

That’s true runnin, plus I really don’t think Higgins knows what he is getting into. Matt Jones knows law very well. Wonder if he will act as a lawyer on behalf of KSR, that would be pretty funny.

I’m calling foul on the lawsuit. And another foul. And another. But not that one. It was obvious but I’m not calling it. Or that one either.

Maybe we shouldn’t talk about it, since they didn’t open the comments on the other articles…if so, I’m sorry, and they can delete them.
But, other point I was wondering about; can you hire a lawyer in federal court for 75,000?

    7. KYcats11

I’m not completely sure on that. I wouldn’t think so, though.
